Artist Residency Gelbes Haus
Der Verein Gelbes Haus bietet ab 2020 einmal jährlich einen Residenzplatz mit Wohn- und Arbeitsraum für internationale Kunstschaffende an. Die Ausschreibung für die Residency im Gelben Haus erfolgt hier auf der hauseigenen Website sowie über transartis.org, einer internationalen Plattform für Artist in Residence Angebote.
Mit der jährlichen Residency wollen wir einen aktiven Beitrag zu einem interkulturellen Austausch in der Stadt Luzern leisten und das Gelbe Haus als Ort der internationalen und interdisziplinären Vernetzung stärken.
Das Atelier ist offen für professionelle Kunstschaffende aller Sparten, unabhängig von Alter und Nationalität. Zum Ende des Aufenthaltes findet ein öffentlicher Anlass statt, je nach Tätigkeitsbereich eine Ausstellung, eine Lesung oder ein Konzert. Den Kunstschaffenden bietet sich damit die Gelegenheit die eigene Arbeit einem breiteren Publikum aus der Stadt Luzern und der Umgebung zu präsentieren.

hat 2013-2018 in Kairo bildende Kunst im Fachbereich Malerei studiert und befasst sich im Moment hauptsächlich mit Video.
Sie wird vom 1.Juni bis 29.August 2020 in Residenz sein, eine Ausstellung Mitte August im Gelben Haus ist geplant.
„When you look up the definition of the word “Space” in your old geography book, you will find it defined as a steady, a free, and an available area. It has dimensions, a depth, a height and a width, where things could be occupied and even move. And if you researched further you will find more related words. There is the “Self Space”, and it is defined as the space where the body and its part can move without traveling away from its starting location. The body can move to a “Personal Space”; a space where you need your own time to think along with your freedom of movement. However you can always go to a “Public Space”, a space that can be accessed by you and other people, moving freely from one area to another. But don’t forget to keep your own personal space!
