«Leek! Leek! (When I don’t know what to do, I walk)» Marianna Karava – Einzelausstellung.

„I walk towards the unfamiliar city. No — I am the unfamiliar one here.
Walking, as one of the few accessible ways of inhabiting the place.
(When I want to hear something, I go to listen to the water underground)
During my walks I repeatedly notice the technical markings on sidewalks and streets — inscriptions left by workers of the underground infrastructure.
Marks fully visible, yet inaccessible in terms of meaning — quietly fascinating.“

Join us for the closing moment of the Gelbes Haus Art-Residency (Nov ’25- Jan ’26): Visual poetry, field notes, and work developed through walking and exploring the city as an artistic source. An exhibition; an artist talk; an event still in the process of becoming. You are warmly invited!

Gelbes Haus ist nicht rollstuhlgängig.
